Terms & Conditions — The Straw

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and any purchases made through it. By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms.
1. Ordering & acceptance
- All online orders are offers to purchase. We may accept or decline orders for any reason (out of stock, pricing error, or inability to fulfill).
- You will receive an email confirmation; an order is accepted when we send a confirmation or when the order is prepared/fulfilled.
2. Pricing & payment
- Prices shown on the Site are in USD and do not include taxes or delivery fees unless stated.
- Payment is due at time of order. We accept payments via third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
3. Pickup & delivery
- Pickup instructions and estimated ready times will be shown at checkout.
- For delivery orders fulfilled by third-party services (DoorDash, Grubhub), those parties’ delivery terms apply; we are not responsible for delays or issues caused by third-party couriers.
4. Refunds & cancellations
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you receive an incorrect, missing, or unsatisfactory item, contact us at TheStrawCafe@gmail.com within 24 hours and we will evaluate a refund, replacement, or store credit.
- Orders that have already been prepared or handed to a courier may be non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Allergens & product information
- Our menu may contain allergens (milk, soy, nuts, etc.). We attempt accurate ingredient lists, but cross-contamination risks exist. Inform staff of allergens at purchase. We are not liable for allergic reactions.
6. Intellectual property
- All Site content (text, images, logos) is owned by The Straw or licensed to us. You may not reproduce content without permission.
7. Limitation of liability & disclaimers
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Straw is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or products purchased. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the affected order.
8. Governing law & disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in Tennessee state or federal courts.
9. Changes to terms
- We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
